Bear Mountain Forest Products is a Sustaining Member of the Biomass Thermal Energy Council (BTEC). As a Sustaining Member Bear Mountain Forest Products has contributed to the financial resources that are necessary for the development of BTEC and its continued efforts to advocate on behalf of biomass energy at the local, state and federal levels. BMFP contributes more than $12,500 annually as a Sustaining Member as well as continual interaction with the organization for further advancement of the biomass energy industry. As a Sustaining Member, BMFP also contributes as a voting member of the Policy Committee.

BMFP owner, Bob Sourek, recently invited members and participants of the Northwest regional gathering to our plant in Cascade Locks, Oregon to help educate those attending about the plants operations and opportunities with forest management and biomass thermal energy.
